Residential Areas Overview
The approximately 670 apartments represent 53% of WOTa’s total portfolio.

The Zwicksche Settlement is located approximately 2 km west of the city center. Thanks to good infrastructure, this residential area is very lively and thus offers high attractiveness for every generation. The short distances to kindergartens, Regenbogenschule primary school, and Taucha secondary school are a strong argument for many families to move here. A variety of doctors and therapists care for health in the Bogumils Garten medical center and the Parthezentrum.
The residential area, developed between 1930 and 1940, is characterized by its spacious, green, and park-like backyards. These can be used for relaxation. The mostly two-story residential buildings have been renovated and largely feature courtyardside balconies.
The mostly two-story properties with converted attics along Leipziger Straße / Friedrich-Engels-Straße / Klebendorfer Str. were first modernized and renovated starting in the early 2000s. Since 2015, further investments (facade renovation, redesign of outdoor facilities, among others) have been made to the properties.
The approximately 350 apartments represent 27.4% of WOTa’s total portfolio.

The Portitzer Settlement is located approximately 2 km northwest of the city center and borders the Leipzig districts of Portitz and Plaußig to the north. Due to its proximity to the train station and tram, the Portitzer Settlement is always easily accessible, even without a car.
Our residential buildings, constructed in the 1930s and 1960s, have been renovated and largely feature balconies. Well-maintained private outdoor areas create a beautiful environment, and the adjacent, historically grown Staditzwald offers a quiet spot for relaxation or walks.
The mostly two-story properties with converted attics along Friedrich-Ebert-Straße / Portitzer Straße / Gneisenaustraße were first modernized and renovated starting in the early 2000s. Since 2015, further investments (facade renovation, redesign of outdoor facilities, among others) have been made to the properties.
The approximately 190 apartments represent 15.0% of WOTa’s total portfolio.

This small, well-maintained residential area invites you to experience its tranquility. Daycare centers, the Grundschule am Park primary school, the Geschwister-Scholl-Gymnasium, and the multi-purpose hall with many sports facilities are all about a 5-minute walk away.
The residential buildings, part of the KIM “Kombinat industrieller Mast” site, were built between 1975 and 1990. The area, with a plot size of approximately 26,500 sqm, is located south of the former site. The new “Gartenstadt” residential area for single-family homes, etc., is currently being developed there.
The mostly four-story properties were first modernized and renovated in the early 2000s. Since 2015, further investments (balcony construction, redesign of outdoor facilities, among others) have been made to the properties.
